Meta Review Validation Guide

This temporary page is the complete MatrixMD Connect test surface for Meta review. It shows how a business connects Facebook Business and WhatsApp Business through Embedded Signup, how MatrixMD validates the Cloud API connection, and how the integration will live inside the production MatrixMD Engage product.

  1. Open this page at https://meta.matrixmdsoftware.com.
  2. Use Start Onboarding to launch Meta Embedded Signup for MatrixMD Connect.
  3. After authorization, confirm that the returned WABA ID, phone number ID, OAuth code, and stored connection appear in the Connection panel.
  4. Use Exchange Code, Debug Token, and the API smoke test to validate the WhatsApp Cloud API flow for the connected business account.
  5. Use the Operator Client to list indexed chats, groups, templates, and message history from webhooks, including WhatsApp Business app coexistence echoes when Meta delivers them.

The real client-facing product is MatrixMD Engage. MatrixMD Engage already manages WhatsApp conversations, message templates, and image/media sends for clinic communication. Today a technician configures Meta apps and credentials manually for clients. After Tech Provider approval, the Connect Facebook Business action will move into MatrixMD Engage and call this same Embedded Signup integration. This public test page will be removed or restricted after Meta approval.

WhatsApp Capabilities and Permissions

This validation app does not replace MatrixMD Engage and does not remove any existing WhatsApp product capability. It verifies that the same Meta permissions support onboarding, message sending, template management, media/image messaging, and webhook synchronization.

Messageswhatsapp_business_messaging covers API sends through /{phone-number-id}/messages, including service messages and approved templates.
Templateswhatsapp_business_management covers reading and managing WABA templates through /{waba-id}/message_templates.
Images and mediawhatsapp_business_messaging covers media upload/retrieval and image/media sends used by MatrixMD Engage campaigns and template headers.
Coexistence syncSubscribed WhatsApp webhooks capture customer messages, status updates, history, and WhatsApp Business app echoes when Meta delivers them.
